According to the latest from China, Xiaomi has just issued an internal document announcing organizational adjustments and important changes in the structure.
Changes within Xiaomi: Xiaomi and Redmi mobile departments merged
Among these, Xiaomi's mobile product department and Redmi's mobile product department were merged to form the "mobile products" department. Ling Xiaobing was made general manager of the telephony products department and Zeng Xuezhong chair of the department.
At the same time, under the mobile product department, the Xiaomi product department, the Redmi product department and the Pad product department are established.
Shi Shasha becomes the head of the Xiaomi mobile product department and Guo Ruimin becomes the head of the Pad product department. While the management of the Redmi product department is in the hands of Ling Xiaobing.
It is also worth noting that the Xiaomi product department, the Redmi product department and the Pad product department in principle belong to the same department and the collaboration on the products of these three parts could be more flexible than ever.

1.
