Certification day for the Xiaomi brand and the various sub-brands connected to it. Today in fact we discover that in addition to the Band 4 just spotted on the Bluetooth site with the certificate for the 5.0 version, also the next Redmi Y3 would seem to have popped up on the Wi-Fi Alliance, or the page that deals with the certification of Wi-Fi on different devices.
If you are curious like us, read on to discover some of the details extracted from the certificate!
Xiaomi Redmi Y3 receives Wi-Fi certification, upcoming presentation?
As we can see in the image above, the device with model number "M1810F6G" has been certified for Wi-Fi support at 2.4GHz frequency. In the same certificate we also see the name of the final product, which therefore leaves no room for doubt, it is Redmi Y3.
In addition to the name of the device, we discover that it will be released with the latest operating system from Xiaomi, the MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

Xiaomi Redmi Y2 / S2
Unfortunately this is all we can extract from the certificate in question, but we can hypothesize a couple of data. For example, the presentation date should be around June as the last Redmi Y2 was launched in June of the 2018. Furthermore we remind you that the Y2 is nothing but the Indian version of the Redmi S2 which is usually presented in advance. So we can expect a Redmi S3 in May, followed by Redmi Y3 specifically for the Indian market.

Xiaomi Redmi Y2 / S3
As for the specifications instead, it is difficult to say so soon and without any leaked rumor until today. However, we suspect finding a Snapdragon 632, which would be a good upgrade over the SD 625 for a device that is an entry-level, but not the cheapest of the company. In addition, the S / Y series is also famous for a high-level photographic sector (selfie side), the Redmi S2 / Y2 was in fact equipped with a front camera from 16MP and we expect a similar resolution for the successor.
What do you think of this series? Does it seem interesting or do you prefer the cheaper Redmi 7? Let us know in the comments section below!
I have the redmi s2 honestly I'm not very satisfied with this phone, especially for the camera and you can't even install the gcam, the battery runs out right away, I think I'll switch to redmi notes 7 and I'll miss the redmi S. series.
