Nowadays children's games are more and more like gadgets for adults, and this is the proof of the new product launched today by crowdfunding from Xiaomi. Xiaodan robot, proposed at a price of 1999 yuan (about 268 euro) with the end of the fund raising at the date 26 July. As the name implies, Robot Xiaodan, is a toy robot equipped with voice assistant through which you can use some simple commands to perform some activities in the tech game.
We also find a broad touch screen from 7 inch that will compose the face of the little robot, which also integrates a camera, a microphone, a speaker with impedance 4 Ohm and 2 W of power and a PIR sensor (passive infrared sensor) which detects movement. In addition, Robot Xiaodan can rotate 360 ° and provides an input for micro SD cards so you can save photos and videos, but also a jack output from 3,5 mm in order to connect headphones and do not disturb the neighbors.
But the fun is assured by the fact that Xiaomi Robot Xiaodan can dance to the rhythm of music but also to sing or even using AI technology, we could use it like small smart assistant. Beyond that the game (if we still want to call it) can teach English to children, but also mathematics and small notions of dance. Dimensions equal to 355 x 347 x 196 mm and a weight of 4400 grams allow the provision of a 5200 mAh battery, whose duration is not clear at the moment.
In fact, in the software supplied with Robot Xiaodan we find further 100 lesson minutes and more than 10000 words to teach English to little Mi Fans, but there are also additional specific content suitable for children, including more 900 minutes of stories and about 200 interactive games.

Among other things, we can even hazard the gods quiz with over 800 questions available, but it does not end here as we can use the function of accompanied programming, through which users can create personalized interactions. Another peculiarity of this Xiaodan Robot is the function of being able to talk at a distance with other people, a sort of Skype made in Xiaomi, while the technology of speech and face recognition will allow you to create interactions based on the user.
