Xiaomi, the Chinese tech giant, has announced that its latest smartband, the Xiaomi smart band 9, will be available in Europe starting August 16th. This device, already launched in China last month, promises to bring numerous innovations and improvements compared to previous models.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 it will be sold at the price of €39,99 for the basic version, while the version with NFC, which allows contactless payments, will cost slightly more. Users will be able to choose between four colors: pink, black, white and blue, thus offering a variety of options to suit personal tastes.
One of the most interesting features of the Smart Band 9 is its OLED display from 1,62 inch with a resolution of 490×192 pixels and a peak brightness of 1.200 nits. This ensures excellent visibility even in direct sunlight, a significant improvement over the previous model. Additionally, the device features a quick strap change mechanism, making customization quick and easy.
The battery of the Smart Band 9 has one capacity of 233 mAh, which offers 21 days of battery life with normal use and 9 days with Always On Display mode activated. Full charging takes just one hour, making the device extremely convenient for everyday use. The smartband is also water resistant up to 50 meters, making it suitable for swimming and other water activities.
In terms of functionality, the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 offers more 150 fitness modes, a linear vibration motor with 20 vibration modes and a heart rate sensor with 16% improved accuracy compared to the Smart Band 8. These features make the device an ideal companion for anyone who wants to monitor their health and physical activity with precision.
Another interesting novelty is the presence of a ceramic version of the Smart Band 9, although it is not yet clear whether this variant will be available in Europe. Furthermore, those who purchase the Smart Band 9 in the Netherlands during the first days of sale will be able to get a pair of Redmi Buds 4 Active TWS earphones for just €1,99, saving €11 compared to purchasing the two products separately.
