The images show a device which, although internally similar to the Amazfit model with regards to basic functionality, clearly differs on the external part with a Renewed design which includes a slot in the central part, a clear sign that we are not talking about the same product. Xiaomi is therefore preparing a new smart ring but not entirely, at least as far as aesthetics are concerned.
The new ring from Xiaomi also stands out for its charging system. Unlike other company devices, such as the Xiaomi Mi Band which uses charging pins, this ring adopts a more advanced and convenient solution: the wireless charging. The charger is equipped with a port USB Type-C and presents indicators LED which show the charging status, suggesting a significant evolution compared to traditional methods and an alignment with the most modern technologies used in high-end smartwatches, such as Samsung Galaxy Watch.

Further details emerge from the analysis of the software included in the device, as revealed by the configuration files obtained. The ring works with ZeppOS and supports a variety of fitness and health-related features, such as continuous heart rate monitoring, the recognition of sporting activity and the possibility of receiving notifications for maintaining posture.
