Xiaomi daily presents all kinds of products not only on its YouPin crowdfunding platform but also on the portals of patents. We have seen technological genres of all kinds and today, last but not least, also a smart device dedicated to children. Who knows Xiaomi you will certainly know that the Chinese voice assistant is called XiaoAI. Well, as revealed by the patent, it seems that XiaoAI is integrated inside this device, in the version 5.0 (suppose) just released in China. The appearance of this children's wall speaker is similar to that of a bell: can be hung on the wall and has a chest on the back. On the front, however, we have the screen with a big physical button to wake up the assistant.
The specific functions of Xiaomi's device are not specified within the patent, however, based on the brief description, we can understand how it will work. Basically the baby will go to press the button positioned at the bottom e Xiaomi XiaoAI assistant will wake up. At this point the child can ask anything and the device will answer the questions. Presumably it will appear on the screen the avatar of XiaoAI we all know.
It is not the first time that Xiaomi presents products for children, even if we had never seen a device like this in the catalog. Exist SmartWatch for the little ones and also graphics tablets for learning, but such a digital assistant is unprecedented.
