When we talk about Chinese smartphones the first thing that comes to mind is the value for money. We know that very often an excellent value for money corresponds to major devaluation index. This means that if a device costs a lot, over time it tends to devalue less while the opposite happens with devices with a lower cost. Clearly this speech is not universally valid: there are a whole series of factors that affect this "law" and vary from market to market. In China Xiaomi is the best in this sense, best of all.
According to a recent study, Xiaomi smartphones are the ones that retain their value over time: more than iPhones, OnePlus, Huawei and Samsung
According to what emerged from a research carried out by the "Mobile Phone Recycling Value Institute"Xiaomi was awarded the first place as"Best Mobile Phone Value Index for the First Half of 2020”All the most important international brands. In other words, it is the first device among 14 competitors to have a major rating index (or minor write-down) within six months.
Among the values taken into consideration in the research carried out on Chinese soil, there are: the user satisfaction index, the intended brand how people see the company from outside, the logo and the index of preservation of products. The latter is the fundamental one because it is what allows you to make a "mathematical" relationship with the other competitors.
As we can see in the photo above Xiaomi is placed in first position with a score 76.14 and becoming in all respects the brand with smartphones that depreciated less in the first half of the year. Following it we find OnePlus, Black Shark (always by Xiaomi), Huawei and only in sixth position iPhone. It is well known that Apple smartphones are the ones that (in Europe) tend to devalue less but as we have said this speech changes from country to country.
Probably the brand run by Lei Jun enjoys greater popularity in China than that of Tim Cook. One of the main reasons could be precisely the value for money. Although the specifications and performance of the top of the range of the two rivals are not at the same level, probably too high a cost has caused Apple to lose ground in this ranking.
