In response to this success, Xiaomi Motors has stated that it intends to continue increase production capacity to reach the target of 100.000 units by the end of the year. Media reports indicate that Xiaomi Motors' Beijing factory plans to start a double-shift model in June, which could almost double the monthly production capacity at almost 20.000 units.
At the same time, the Fangxindian Village area, where the second phase of the Xiaomi car factory is located, has entered the demolition phase, marking the beginning of a significant expansion for the company.
At the time of publication, The expected delivery times for the standard version of the SU7 are between 29 and 32 weeks from order, while for the Pro and Max versions we are talking about 30-33 and 33-37 weeks, respectively.
Industry insiders have expressed admiration for Xiaomi's ability to sell such a large number of units in a short time, considering the positioning and specifications of the SU7.
The CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, announced that the Pro version of the SU7 will begin shipping at the end of May, with the aim of exceeding 10.000 monthly deliveries in June. The SU7 stands out for its integration with the Xiaomi ecosystem, thanks to the 8295 chip and the HyperOS operating system, which promise a cutting-edge user experience.
The car is built on an 800V architecture, which allows for fast charging of 510 km in just 15 minutes, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2,78 seconds, a top speed of 210 km/h and a CLTC autonomy of 810 km. These technical characteristics position the SU7 as a competitive option in the electric car market.
