The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra will be equipped with a beginner mode, which will require users to pass a step-by-step exam to unlock the full performance of the vehicle. This approach aims to ensure that only experienced drivers can make full use of the vehicle's capabilities.

During testing at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany, the SU7 Ultra achieved a maximum speed of over 350 kilometers per hour. This impressive figure underlines the high performance of the vehicle, which was designed to compete with the fastest sports cars in the world.

On March 28, Xiaomi launched the SU7 electric sedan, offering three variants: standard, Pro and Max, with starting prices of 215.900 Yuan (around 27000 euros), 245.900 Yuan and 299.900 Yuan respectively. During its annual presentation on July 19, Lei Jun unveiled the SU7 Ultra prototype, saying it is based on the SU7 and built for performance and the track.

The SU7 Ultra prototype is powered by Xiaomi's V8s engine, which achieves 27.200 rpm and offers a power of 1.548 horsepower. The model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 1,97 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 5,96 seconds, with a top speed of over 350 km/h.

Lei Jun confirmed that the production version of the SU7 Ultra will retain the same chassis structure, three motors and battery pack as the prototype. Although the price of the production version will be slightly higher, it will not be particularly expensive.

In the second quarter of 2024, Xiaomi delivered 27.307 units of the SU7 series, as reported in its quarterly financial report.
