Xiaomi has raised the bar with the launch of its long-awaited SU7 Ultra, now available in a charming silver color called “Cosmic Silver”. This announcement comes just ahead of its market debut scheduled for February 27, adding to the excitement surrounding this high-performance electric vehicle.
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Record-Breaking at Shanghai IC, Launched in Cosmic Silver

The new “Cosmic Silver” finish gives the SU7 Ultra a sleek and modern aesthetic. This is Xiaomi’s second color so far, after the vibrant yellow. The silver exterior is complemented by gold emblems and eye-catching yellow brake calipers, creating a dynamic visual contrast. Black wheels and a carbon fiber roof add further sportiness and a premium feel to the car’s look. Xiaomi has hinted at a total of five color options for the Ultra version.
In addition to its charming appearance, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is a high-performance machine. This electric sedan is powered by three electric motors generating a combined peak power of 1.138 kW (1.526 hp). This power translates into lightning-fast acceleration, with the SU7 Ultra reaching 0-100 km/h in just 1,98 seconds. Its top speed is impressive, reaching 350 km/h.
In support of these performances there is a CATL Qilin 2.0 battery 93,7 kWh, capable of one Maximum discharge power of 1.330 kW. The vehicle also features the largest carbon ceramic brake discs ever fitted to a sports car. The SU7 Ultra rides on 21-inch wheels with Pirelli P Zero 5 tyres, and its aerodynamic design includes a 1560 mm wide rear spoiler, which generates 285 kg of downforce. The car's dimensions are 5115 mm long, 1970 mm wide and 1465 mm high, with a wheelbase of 3000 mm.

Xiaomi began taking pre-orders for the SU7 Ultra on October 29 last year, and the initial response was overwhelming, with 3.680 orders placed in just 10 minutes. The original launch date was set for March 2025, but Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun recently announced that the SU7 Ultra will hit the market earlier than expected, on February 27. Xiaomi plans to sell 10.000 units of the high-performance electric vehicle in 2025.
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is priced at 814.900 Yuan in China, which corresponds to approximately EUR 100.800. For context, the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT, another high-performance electric car, has a significantly higher price tag in China, reaching 1.998.000 yuan (about 252.000 euros). Local competition comes from the Zeekr 001 FR and the new Yangwang U9, with the Tesla Model S Plaid continuing to be one of the fastest electric four-doors.
