Xiaomi's future will also pass through UWB technology

Xiaomi is not the first company to use UWB technology. Previously also Oppo e Google they did. But what is it about, grace? We first saw Xiaomi's UWB technology on Xiaomi MIX 4. The device was not only revolutionary in terms of the camera under the display (really invisible) but also for the new tracking technology that makes the GPS evolves and rise to the nth degree. In any case, the Chinese giant has invested a lot of money by acquiring part of a company called Ultraception. This company is betting everything on UWB technology and on how to take advantage of this type of connection on different types of devices.

The technology in question uses four radio waves high frequency for positioning with a bandwidth up to 500 MHz. The combination of two devices can achieve centimeter-level accurate spatial positioning. But Xiaomi's UWB technology will be about only smartphones? Absolutely not. Some time ago the company released One Finger Link Companion. It is a small contraption that sticks to ours Smart TV and that adds UWB technology to it. In particular, a method of TOF bidirectional transmission to measure distance using the time-of-flight signal between two devices. 

With regard to the safety, the UWB signal contains information such as very high-precision encryption and timestamps, which are difficult to intercept from the outside and capable of resisting forwarding attacks.
