Xiaomi threatens Apple's "crown" in the wearable market!

La standings of the most popular, and therefore valuable, brands in the wearable technology market was the following at the beginning of the year: Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), held the highest step of the podium, followed by Fitbit and Xiaomi which alternated with quarterly sales volumes.

The scenario that faces the eyes of analysts, to this day, has drastically changed. Maybe thanks to the recent presentation of the much appreciated Amazfit Bip, Xiaomi has recovered a lot from Apple and, above all, has distanced itself - once and for all ?! - FitBit.

By doing a brief analysis of their respective sales in the third quarter of 2017, Xiaomi has sold 100 thousands more wearable products than FitBit, but remains behind the American company producing the 'Apple Watch of well 300 thousand units.

But why did Xiaomi recover ground?

The answer is fairly simple. Compared to the first quarter sales of Xiaomi have increased in proportion to much more than Apple's growth: with this change, market shares are based on 23% for Apple, 21% for Xiaomi e 20% for FitBit which are spaced by almost 15 centimeters, such as Samsung and Huawei, which in the field of wearable technology have never been centered.

The solid advantage of Apple must be found in the fact that the introduction of LTE technology in the new generation of its smartwatch has substantially attracted many potential customers who were undecided at the beginning of the year. In reality, the situation remains temporary because, according to analysts, Apple has not yet saturate the demand and could do so by the end of the year.

But then can Apple's sleep be really serene? The answer is definitely one DO NOT.

La Xiaomi's growing positionin fact, that has overtaken any brand in a numerically important market like that Indian, suggests that China's market share may grow decisively over the short term.

In short, we will see at the end of the year whether India will give a strong boost to Xiaomi's growth, but it is in fact that Apple can seriously worry about eastern competition.
