Yesterday afternoon, the Chinese technology giant launched the 86-inch Xiaomi TV EA Pro. The new ultra large TV will be sold in China at the special initial price of 5999 yuan (820 euros), while the list price will be 6999 yuan, about 950 euros at the exchange rate.

With the new arrival, Xiaomi EA Pro series TVs cover a total of four sizes: 55/65/75/86, so as to meet the needs of most families.
Going to the specifications, the Xiaomi TV EA Pro 86 ″ adopts a metal body with the typical "full screen" design of the Chinese house. We find an ultra-high screen ratio of up to 97,3% and a 4K (3840×2160) resolution. The screens are adjusted one by one and finally reach the almost professional display standard of AE=3, thus presenting colors as close to the original ones.
The TV also adopts the advanced picture quality adjustment technology independently developed by Xiaomi to deeply optimize the picture performance from the underlying system to the hardware configuration. Specific improvements have been made to clarity, color, light and dark levels, etc., making the image clearer and more transparent, and the colors vivid and lifelike.
The TV also supports MEMC motion compensation, which optimizes the real-time image through the algorithm, intelligently upgrades low frame rate content to high frame rate. This means that if, for example, we use the TV for gaming, MEMC technology will make viewing very fluid even in the case of low frame rates.
As for performance, the Xiaomi TV EA Pro 86″ is powered by the MediaTek MT9638 chip, which supports 4K HDR decoding, with clearer image levels, better brightness and clarity. The chip is accompanied by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is dual-band Wi-Fi support and Bluetooth 5.0.
