Xiaomi TV ES70 official: 70 ″ TV with 4K resolution and partitioned backlight

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has just released the new Mi TV ES70 in China. The TV has as its main features the support for multi-partition backlighting and a 4K resolution.

Going into detail, according to official data, the Xiaomi TV ES70 is equipped with a 70-inch screen with a resolution of 3840 * 2160, with a screen ratio of 97,8% and manages to achieve color accuracy at the levels of the displays professional with ΔE≈2, a wide 3% DCI-P94 color gamut, support for 1,07 billion colors, and the motion-enhancing technology called MEMC.

But it doesn't stop there, because the ES70 TV also adopts a Star Screen Sharp Shadow multi-partition backlight. This supports 4096-level dimming and has a peak brightness of 700 nits. The TV is also equipped with a super resolution algorithm, which can analyze the image in real time to reduce noise. So even if it is a low resolution video source, you can get a high quality image effect as if it were a 4K video.

In terms of internal hardware, the Xiaomi TV ES70 is equipped with a quad-core chip, the MediaTek MT9638 A55, along with a G52 (2EE) MC1 GPU and a memory combination of 2GB / 32GB. The TV supports 2.4GHz / 5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi, is equipped with two powerful 12.5W speakers, dual air duct design, Dolby support and DTS dual decoding.

In addition, the TV supports remote voice control via the Xiao Ai virtual assistant. With it you can control the TV, play music, control smart products at home and it supports screen sharing from Android, iOS, Windows and Mac devices.

Finally, as for the ports, the Xiaomi TV ES70 is equipped with two USB ports, three HDMI ports, AV input, Antenna input, S / PDIF and network port.

The Xiaomi TV ES70 will be sold in China at a price of 4499 yuan, around 620 euros.
