In addition to being popular, at least in China, Xiaomi TVs would also be of high quality, according to the director general of the TV department, Li Xiaoshuang. In fact, Li said that Xiaomi TVs have a production quality that is two times higher than other brands.
The Xiaomi TVs are twice as good as the competition
To confirm his statement he then published a video in which we see the actual TV production process. This is almost completely automated and therefore ensures a level of precision and, consequently, higher quality.
Even the co-founder and president of Xiaomi, Wang Chu, has forwarded the video saying that: "Improving automation is essential to improve quality" and said that the quality of Xiaomi TV has more than doubled compared to that of other brands.
Especially thanks to this increase in quality, Xiaomi TV's performance in the 2018 has grown tremendously. In the second quarter of 2018 Xiaomi became the first TV manufacturer in China, confirming the dominance in the fourth quarter with 112% of sales compared to the previous year. So in summary, Xiaomi dominated the TV market throughout the 2018 and we're just starting out.
Another advantage of having a fully automated assembly line is ensuring compliance with the standards adopted by the manufacturer and the final quality of the device. To give an example, the 4-inch Xiaomi Mi TV 32, goes from listing to the twelfth month on the market with a repair rate of 0,64%, far below the industry average of 2,6%. At the same time, the automated manufacturing process is highly efficient, so it will be possible to sell the TV at a lower and more competitive price.
Although it is a young brand in the TV industry (only 5 years), Xiaomi has not only defeated many old traditional TV manufacturers, but also those emerging with Internet TV such as LeTV, becoming the first brand in China, thanks to the quality and competitiveness of own products.
Lei Jun, once said: "Quality is Xiaomi's lifeline", well apparently the founder of Xiaomi seems to keep his word, at least as far as TVs are concerned. We hope this is also the case for all the other products!
