Xiaomi thinks of TWS headphones in Pamu Scroll style but with divisible box

Very often, almost always, when we go to see the patents that Xiaomi presents daily, we come across smartphones. In the vast majority of cases, 2020 saw patents regarding folding devices or with surround display like Mi MIX Alpha. This time, however, we go to see a new product that we rarely find on CNIPA, the Chinese regulator of technology patents. It is about true wireless headphones (TWS) with a very special design. The box is very reminiscent of the famous Pamu Scrolls but the Chinese brand has put a little gem into it.

These are Xiaomi's TWS headphones that want to take a more modern, sporty style, but without giving up portability

As you have no doubt understood the patent that we are going to see comes from China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), the Chinese body responsible for regulating all or almost all patents of Chinese brands. Below is the translated part of the document that certifies that we are talking about a product Xiaomi, in particular of true wireless headphones. The application was submitted on November 25 two years ago, but was only authorized today. But having said that, let's go see the details of the headphones.

patent headphones such as pamu scroll

As we can see in the photos below, they are characterized by a box set a tube that is very reminiscent of the Pamu Scrolls of the homonymous company. Unlike these earphones, however, Xiaomi has thought of some headphones with the stick: we understand that the tube that contains them both slightly larger than that of the Pamu Scrolls.

One of the peculiarities of these TWS headphones is the ability of the box to divide in two. This feature, if confirmed, would lead the headphones to have the ability to can also be used individually. However, such a box is subject to a very easy loss: imagine how simple it is to forget only one part of the product at home. Having said that we remember that it is a patent and as such the company does not necessarily intend to market it. As we know, in fact, many patented products do not see the light at all.
