La rivalry between Xiaomi and Lenovo it is perhaps one of the strongest of recent times. In fact, the two companies never miss an opportunity to criticize each other and today we have a new example.
As some of you know, a couple of days ago Lenovo presented the new Lenovo Z6 Pro, a device with interesting features and a fairly competitive price.
Xiaomi vs Lenovo: Z6 Pro does not support 27W fast charging
So where is the problem? The Lenovo comes with a charger from 27W but in reality the smartphone only supports fast charging at 18W.
Now you will ask: so? What's wrong with that? Well, apparently, during the launch event, Lenovo would have shown a slide (image above) with the word 27W fast charging. So even the most experienced of you would have done nothing but think that this is the charging power supported by the terminal; instead it is not so.
This information discrepancy was highlighted by Redmi's general manager and Xiaomi Group vice president, Lu Weibing, who commented on Chinese social media "We don't like the fact that some companies use these tactics to deceive their users."
To all this, Lenovo responded by saying that the intent was not to lie but to give users a more powerful charger to use with the Lenovo Z6 Pro. Adding that “A charger from 27W will be more efficient and will heat less, and it can be used to charge other compatible devices ”.
Well, it so happens that we know at least one, let's talk about the Xiaomi Mi 9, which it supports fast charging to 27W. Just the smartphone that Lenovo executives had previously criticized for not being in stock for a long time.
Now let's give you the word. What do you think of this Lenovo "misunderstanding"? Does it seem to you in good faith or not? Let us know in the comments section below!
