The Chinese technology giant Xiaomi seems ever closer to launching a new product in the smartwatch category. A wearable with model number M2134W1 was in fact caught on a certification site in the Asian country.
New certified Xiaomi smartwatch: is it the Watch Color 3?
According to the information on the certification page, the smartwatch supports a charging power of 5W and also has audio playback and storage functions.
Also according to what we read on the site, unfortunately the new Xiaomi smartwatch does not yet support the eSIM call function, so it is assumed that it probably does not belong to the high-end business S series, but to the Xiaomi Color series, fashionable and sporty. Furthermore, the wireless charging function does not seem to have been certified, which therefore should be missing, in its place we should find a cheaper magnetic contact charging solution.
Recall that the latest device in the Xiaomi Color series is the Xiaomi Watch Color 2, a sports smartwatch created mainly for the youngest. The wearable uses a 1,43-inch AMOLED-type screen that also supports a high refresh rate of 60Hz and has a resolution of 466x466.
As for health, the smartwatch supports blood oxygen saturation monitoring and there is also support for a total of 117 sport modes.
The Xiaomi Watch Color 2 is then equipped with dual-frequency GPS for a more accurate positioning system during sports activities. We also find a waterproofness of up to 5 ATM, the ability to make Bluetooth calls, along with music playback and many other functions.
Finally, the Watch Color 2 arrives with the support of the voice commands of the Xiao AI assistant for controlling information, setting alarms and controlling smart home products.
