Together with the new series Xiaomi 12, the Chinese technology giant also presented the new Xiaomi Watch S1.

The Xiaomi Watch S1 has as its strong point the use of sapphire glass which thanks to its characteristics has a more premium appearance and a soft feeling to the touch. The sapphire material is also used in traditional watches as well as Apple's and Rolex's smartwatches.
The S1 Watch has also been upgraded from a previous generation silicone band to a fluorinated rubber band, which is more comfortable and stylish, fluffy and more stain resistant. Xiaomi also offers an optional leather strap, with a special calf leather that has the entire piece cut once to keep the natural texture of the leather.
As for the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi Watch S1 is equipped with a 1,43-inch AMOLED high-definition retina screen with a resolution of 466 × 466, a pixel density of 326PPI, a high refresh rate of 60Hz. It supports over 200 watch faces and adds smoother dynamic dials, “super dials” and custom dials. Furthermore, the smartwatch is equipped with a BES2500BP chip, 4GB of memory and 32GB of storage.
For sports, the Mi Watch S1 uses dual-frequency GPS and supports the positioning of four satellites (Beidou, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS). It supports 117 sports modes, including 19 professional modes.
In terms of health, the smartwatch provides heart rate / blood oxygen / sleep monitoring for all seasons and oxygen detection can also be set every 10min / 30min.
In terms of smart functions, the Mi Watch S1 supports third-party apps, including Alipay, Baidu Maps, AutoNavi Maps, NetEase Cloud Music, Air Travel, Aidong Fitness, and you can download over 20 APPs.
Finally, in terms of autonomy, the Watch S1 has an integrated 470 mAh battery for 12 days in typical mode, 24 days in low consumption mode.
The Xiaomi Watch S1 will be available in Obsidian Black Edition colors (fluorinated rubber strap) for 1099 yuan (152 €) and Streamer Silver (leather strap) for 1199 yuan (166 €)
