Both versions of Xiaomi Watch S2 are made using a steel case and are offered in two versions: with silicone and leather straps. The main feature of the leather variant is a sapphire protective glass and the only difference between the large and small smartwatches is the battery life. Xiaomi claims that the battery of the 46 mm version is designed for 12 days working away from the socket and the more compact version for 7 days. Xiaomi Watch S2 offers five typical health monitoring functions and one new one. Standard functions include measuring the amount of oxygen in the blood, monitoring sleep quality, stress levels, heart rate and skin temperature.
During the presentation, Xiaomi did not focus on the technical characteristics of the S2 smartwatch, but it is known that the Maximum screen brightness is 600 nits and moisture protection is limited by the requirements of the standard 5ATM. Also, the device has a built-in NFC module. Prices for Xiaomi Watch S2 in China start at € 150 (this and subsequent prices are converted from Chinese yuan). For this amount, you can buy a 42mm version with a silicone strap. For the model with a leather strap and sapphire crystal of the same diameter, we will have to pay € 170. Similar 46mm models cost respectively € 180 e € 200.
