One of the appreciated features offered by the new Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is the support for wireless charging, why the company decided to present the pad during the presentation event Xiaomi Wireless Charger, able to work not only with the Mi Mix 2S but also with other phones like those of Apple and Samsung. Mi Mix 2S is the first Xiaomi device to offer this feature, which we hope to see soon implemented on the future top of the company.
The Xiaomi Wireless Charger uses the Qi wireless charging standard, able to supply power for 7,5 W for fast charging but at a standard level this is equal to 5W with a voltage of 5V / 2A or 9V / 2A. There is certainly no lack of various protections relating to high currents or overheating. Despite everything, however, on the package it is specified that it is preferable to use the pad only with Mi Mix 2S and inside we find no cable but only the charging station.

The metal heat sink is fixed by clips with screw points that hold it on the plastic casing.
