A new leak from the famous tech blogger SugarDesign has revealed the interior of the Xiaomi YU7, showing how the brand continues to focus on a sleek, futuristic design inspired by the series Xiaomi SU7. This new model, while maintaining some familiar features of the SU7 Ultra, introduces significant improvements and new solutions to offer an increasingly cutting-edge experience.

According to the leaked image, the Xiaomi YU7 design takes the look of the SU7 Ultra model's steering wheel, but stands out for the innovative layout of the dashboard. The latter has been moved entirely under the windshield, adopting a wraparound layout. This choice not only improves the visibility of information, but also adds a touch of futurism to the vehicle's interior.
Another important new feature is the absence of physical buttons on the central control panel, replaced by a completely digital interface. This minimalist approach gives the interior a cleaner and more modern aesthetic.
The design of the Xiaomi YU7 not only replicates the SU7 series, but introduces several new features, including:
- Dashboard layout: Full-length layout under the windshield for better readability and a futuristic touch.
- Displayed information: Essential information, such as battery life, gear, speed, navigation and music, is arranged from left to right for quick and intuitive access.
- Ambient Lighting: RGB strips integrated into the air vents, adding a touch of personalization.
- Steering wheel: Inspired by the design of the SU7 Ultra, it ensures visual continuity with the previous series.
- Control Panel: A cleaner aesthetic without physical buttons, opting for a fully digital interface.
- Cup holder: positioned in the center for easier access.
While the Xiaomi YU7 will not be present at the Shanghai International Auto Show on April 23, Xiaomi will use the event to showcase the entire SU7 series lineup, including the SU7 Ultra models. This could be a way to keep the YU7 out of the spotlight for now, perhaps ahead of a dedicated launch event.
