If there is something that we absolutely cannot give up, in addition to the obvious Xiaomi smartphone, this is water. Buying bottles of water at the supermarket as well as being more expensive than drinking tap water also produces more pollution. Then of course there is the fountain option, but we don't all want to go and fill cans with water whenever we are close to exhaustion.
So what is the alternative? Well as you may have already understood from the title, let's talk about the water purifier. A very useful tool to save money and effort.
Xiaomi Yunmi X1 Water Purifier 2 in 1 presented in China at 999 Yuan
The last water purifier presented by Xiaomi, or rather the Yunmi sub-brand, is the Yunmi X1 Water Purifier table (so no installation is required) with dispenser function, reverse osmosis technology and 4 + 1 filtering system that will allow you to drink water directly to the moment without any waiting.
The Yunmi X1 has a tank with a capacity of 4,2 liters where you can put the tap water, while in the other of 1,8 liters the purified water accumulates, so in fact there is no need for direct pipes and you can position anywhere around the house or office.
Moreover, thanks to the on-board heating technology, it is possible to have hot water in just one second. All you have to do is set the desired temperature and the Yunmi X1 Water Purifier will produce it almost instantly.
As we can see from the display in the picture, the maximum configurable temperature seems to be 99 degrees Celsius, so just before the boiling point. This will allow us to be able to create any hot drink, such as tea, coffee or whatever.
To increase the safety of the device, Xiaomi has also equipped the purifier with a child lock system. Now it is not clear to us whether they will be denied only the function to heat the water or even that to purify it simply; we will update the post when we find more details.
Finally, the Yunmi X1 is also smart, it can in fact be connected to the dedicated application to control various factors such as water quality and wear on the filter that will inevitably have to be changed after a certain period. It will be possible to check all this information at any time and anywhere (even outside the home).
We end with the most important info of all, namely the price. The Yunmi X1 Water Purifier starts from a price of 999 Yuan, around 130 €, up to 1599 Yuan, around 210 €. We are not yet aware of the differences between the two prices but we think that the 1599 version can arrive with replacement filters in the package.
