Zooz has just spread the specifications of his new (but not expected) Zooz S5.5. A phone that according to the company does not directly copy Xiaomi's Redmi Notes, because it simply runs a cover. You understand, a cover (as if it were a cover of a musical song!).
We are not exactly sure that Xiaomi is happy to see a new producer who makes clones of his phones, but we are not as sure that it can hinder its production (intellectual property in China is not a very common concept ...).
As for the device. The Zooz S5.5 is as its name suggests a 5.5-inch 1: 1 scale replica phone of the Xiaomi Redmi Note. The hardware for which it is characterized is obviously slightly thinner than that of the device it inspires: the display is an OGS in qHD resolution 960 x 540 pixels, the processor is the very popular 6582 Ghz Mediatek MT1.3 quad-core. then 1GB of RAM, Android 4.4.2 Kitkat operating system, the slot for memory expansion but not LTE connectivity ...
Zooz would already be in touch with several international dealers including Pandawil, 1949deal, Tinydeal, Lightinthebox etc. to place these devices outside of the Chinese market. The official price has not yet been announced but according to sources close to us it should be around the 150 dollars (about 122 Euros).
The post Zooz S5.5, not a clone but a "cover" of the Redmi Notes Appeared first on GizChina.it.
