ZTE Voyage 40 launched in China: entry-level with 90Hz screen for only 899 yuan (€120)

Well-known smartphone maker ZTE launched the new one this morning ZTE Voyage 40. The entry-level smartphone will be sold in China with a starting price of 899 yuan, about 120 euros at the exchange; let's find out more.

According to official data, the ZTE Voyage 40 is equipped with one LCD screen with water drop notch from 6,52 inches. The panel has an HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 to be precise), supports one 90 Hz refresh rate, an NTSC color gamut of 83%, and has passed UL certification for low blue light eye protection.

ZTE's Voyage 40 is driven by the processor Unisoc Tanggula T760. This SoC with support for 5G connectivity focuses on low power consumption and adopts 6nm EUV manufacturing technology. The chip integrates an octa-core CPU with two clusters, including four fast ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked up to 2 GHz and four small ARM-Cortex-A55 cores clocked up to 2 GHz for efficiency, while the integrated graphics card is an ARM Mali-G57 MC4 (4 cores) up to 780 MHz.

As for the photographic sector, the new device comes with a 5 megapixel front camera, while on the back we find a circular camera module with a main camera from 13MP.

The ZTE Voyage 40 is powered by a battery integrated with 4000 mAh which supports 10W fast charging. The operating system is custom MyOS13 based on Android 13.

In terms of price, the ZTE Voyage 40 in the version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of memory will be sold at a price of 899 yuan (120 euros), the 4GB+128GB version is priced at 999 yuan (130 euros) and 6GB+ 128GB is priced at 1099 yuan (144 euros).
