The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO has just launched its new one in India OPPO A59 5G, after having anticipated it a few days ago. This is a low-end device that offers 5G connectivity, an attractive design, a large 90Hz display, a MediaTek processor and fast charging support.

Going into detail, the A59 5G arrives with a 6,56 LCD display with teardrop notch. This panel has a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels (HD+), a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness level of 720 nits.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor, along with a battery from 5000 mAh. The smartphone runs with ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13 and supports the quick charge to 33W.
As regards the photographic sector, OPPO A59 5G has a dual rear camera consisting of a 13MP main sensor it's a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, there is one 8 MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Like many other budget smartphones, the OPPO A59 5G features a headphone jack from 3,5 mm and a MicroSD card slot. It uses a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. For biometrics, it has a side fingerprint sensor.
The A59 5G has a flat design with a thickness of 8,12 mm and a weight of approximately 187 grams, and is presented in two colors: Silk Gold and Starry Black. The smartphone comes with IP54 certification for splash resistance.
The OPPO A59 5G was launched in India at a price of 14999 Indian rupees, approximately 165 euros at the current exchange rate, for the 4 GB + 128 GB memory configuration. The device will be sold in the South Asian country via offline retail stores, OPPO Store, Flipkart and Amazon starting December 25th.
