Coronavirus, Xiaomi officially closes all Mi Stores in Italy
As it is right, Xiaomi has therefore decided to close all the Mi Stores in Italy. Following the official press release:
Following the provisions of the latest decree issued by the Government and to protect the health of Customers and Collaborators, in agreement with Mi Store Italy, we have temporarily closed the doors of all Mi Stores in the area and decided to simultaneously cancel the Mi Fan Festival scheduled for April 6th.

Xiaomi also required to specify that:
On April 6, we wanted to organize a great meeting for all Italian Mi Fans, but despite the desire to remain optimistic, the sense of responsibility towards you imposes this choice on us.
We will still celebrate the Mi Fan Festival, but in a different way. Stay tuned!

As mentioned above, this choice is also forced by the latest ministerial decree which suspends retail commercial activities, except for those that sell identified basic necessities (from pharmacies to tobacconists, newsagents, petrol stations).
Xiaomi Italia did not mention the presentation of the Xiaomi Mi 10 in the least / We 10 Pro, which therefore could occur despite the Coronavirus pandemic currently underway in Italy and in the rest of the world. Now we do not know if this is due to the fact that the event will take place in a country other than Italy, such as Spain, with more permissive laws at least at the moment, or if perhaps everything is also feasible in Italy, indoors and respecting distances.
