Since May the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick continues to be talked about. According to several sources in fact, the next Xiaomi home gadget is getting closer to release.
Xiaomi Mi TV Stick caught on the FCC certification site
Well, today comes a new leak that seems to confirm it once again. The Xiaomi Mi TV Stick would have just been caught on the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) certification site, or the body that certifies all the products that will be released on the American market. The device would have as model number MDZ-24-AA, while the identification of the certificate is 2AIMRMITVMDZ24AA.
In addition to the model number, the certificate also contained the image that we can see above. From the image we discover some of the specifications, although nothing relatively important. Specifically we understand that the stick works with an input of 5V and 1A, will therefore consume 5W during use, obviously the product is "Made in China" and is also certified by the CE and EAC as well as FCC. Finally, we have an HDMI port for video output, like any self-respecting TV stick.
In any case, several rumors suggest that there will actually be two versions of the Xiaomi Mi TV Stick, one with support for a maximum resolution of 4K and one that only supports Full HD. The latter variant is the one that in recent days would have leaked online revealing some of the specifications.
In particular, the Mi TV Stick with Full HD should equip a 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core processor with Mali-450 GPU, accompanied by 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of eMMC storage space. There will also be a Bluetooth module to version 4.2, dual band Wi-Fi, HDMI (2.0a) port for video output and MicroUSB port for power supply. To run it all we think the operating system Android TV 9.0 with support for Doby Audio and DTS Surround Sound. Finally, there will be a remote control with voice recognition (Google Assistant).
