Very often we say that the MIUI 12 it's the best interface that runs around. Many users may think differently but there is no doubt that it is the most complete. Sure, "top" it does not mean "wave”And indeed, we say that no UI is perfect among all those that we can count. And there is proof of thislatest bug reported on the Mi Community which sees protagonistsGoogle Assistant , Dark Mode. These two conflict and create many problems for users. Fortunately, not all the smartphones of the brand are interested, but only some.
The latest MIUI 12 bug reported shows how Google Assistant and Dark Mode do not get along: the first stops working in the presence of the second
What's the problem? Different users of different smartphones such as Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite e Xiaomi Mi 9 they noticed a conflict problem between a feature and an application. It is about Google Assistant (what we call with the voice) and the Dark Mode (which we activate to save battery most of the time). In particular the Google application stops working if dark mode is activated. Users have noticed that this problem only exists after installing the MIUI 12 on your devices. In some cases the assistant it works halfway. We see it in the image below in which both white, gray and black appear.
As we know it is from poco support for the Dark Mode for the application Google but it doesn't seem to get along very well with Xiaomi's custom skin. A Mi Community moderator has recognized this bug and announced that the developers already know about it. It still seems to be a problem that yes posters exclusively with Google's proprietary application. That said, we know that the development of an interface is difficult and trying to avoid conflicts between apps and features is even more difficult, but some basic gaps could be avoided long before the rollout of an update. We are confident that, as in the other cases, the brand and the team behind the UI will be able to solve (with delay given the stop of development until 30 October) the conflict.
