Today was an important day for Xiaomi who has come across his own CEO Mr. Lei Jun with Mr. Lu Qi COO (Chef Operating Officer) of Baidu, who was visiting the headquarters of Xiaomi and could admire the technological jewels made available such as the Mi TV 4, Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi Mix but also many other products focusing the meeting in depth on the new trends arising from artificial intelligence technology.
Lu Qi particularly appreciated the technology of the Chinese company with particular praise to the Xiaomi Mi Mix for its design and the revolutionary concept phone concept launched last October.
Lu Qi was previously Microsoft's executive at the global and the 17 past January joined the Baidu company with the appointment of COO where he will be responsible for products, technology, sales and marketing operations. Furthermore in March this year Baidu set up a team that will focus resources on the development of artificial intelligence technology that for the next 10 years will have a strategic importance where Lu Qi is the general manager.
All this makes me suppose Xiaomi and Baidu are collaborating together for some super innovative product also seen the goals that are coming up with the Xiaomi VR viewer. What will they have in mind?
