The world leader in the field of drones, DJI, has just launched a new product under the name of DJI Mini SE.
DJI Mini SE official but unavailable in Europe and USA
The DJI Mini SE is a specialized drone tailored to meet the needs of entry-level users especially in emerging markets. The drone comes with some basic features very similar to what we found on the first DJI Mavic Mini, although it comes at a lower price point. In fact, the Mini SE uses the internal components of the Mavic Mini and the body of the Mini 2.
However, the DJI Mini SE has significantly higher performance than the Mavic Mini and comes at a more attractive price point. As for the specs, the DJI Mini SE comes with the ability to shoot 2,7K video, with 20 minutes of flight time, wireless signal range of 2,5 miles, ability to take photos from 12 MP and gimbal configuration to 3 axes. Furthermore, the drone weighs around 250 grams.
For the price, at the moment we only know that the DJI Mini SE will be sold in Malaysia at RM 1.349, about 270 euros. The DJI Mini SE will also be available in Russia and in select markets outside the US and Europe.
