Android 9 Pie the 2018 was announced in March and from that moment on the various phone brands have competed to bring the new major release on their devices. Among these, even if it does not contribute to the frenetic rush, it returns also our beloved Xiaomi who is working on updating to Android 9 Pie for some of its smartphones so much so that today the MIUI development team has released one roadmap on those that will be precisely the terminals updated to the new OS.
Here are the Xiaomi smartphones that will receive Android 9 Pie by the end of the year
In total 19 will be Xiaomi smartphones that will benefit from the new version of Android (between Oreo and Pie) while for all the others put your soul in peace as the only updates will be linked to the MIUI 10 interface and nothing more. So if you want to try out the new features of Android 9 Pie you will have to resort to modding and install Custom ROM.
Actually the list released by Xiaomi is poco clear. We know that nine smartphones have already received the ad update Android Oreo and I am:

- Redmi 5 Plus
- My 5X
Finally, currently the devices updated to Android 9 Pie are only three and respond to the name of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Mi 8 and Mi 8 Explorer Edition to which they add Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro, Mi 8 SE and Mi Max 3 as well as the newborn Mi Mix 3 that will be updated by the end of the 2018, except for Mi Mix 3 that mounts the latest version of the green robot natively.
Perhaps for many the disappointment is around the corner, as they expected a longer list but we remember that the company is generally used to updating the MIUI version instead of the OS. And how important is it for you to upgrade to the latest version of Android?
