After overturning the Google Photos app by introducing significant restrictions, the Mountain View company is now also putting its hand to Google Pay, one of the most used app for making digital payments, which from 2021 will also see renewals.
The change will come into force next year and will not please the many users who use the service not only from smartphones but also from PCs and / or in any case from internet browsers, as a notification message appears already from these hours warning us that right from 2021, it will no longer be possible to send or receive money through the web service, therefore forcing users to use the application, available for both Android and iOS.

The reason for this change is not clear, but it could create embarrassment for users who prefer to rely on their PC for certain financial situations, theoretically considered safer for monetary transactions. In this regard, the company declares that by eliminating the possibility of sending and receiving money from browsers, Google Pay will always be available to carry out this type of transaction on platforms that use security as an unlock pattern, facial and digital biometrics (Face ID) or by fingerprint.
