A few hours ago she leaked to Weibo, a popular Chinese social network, a picture of a new, small Xiaomi smartphone.
At the moment there is no information regarding this new device: perhaps it could be a Mini version of the Mi 5 or 5S, or a completely new model dedicated to a low-end market, or even a terminal for those who, like myself, are looking for a smartphone “Pocket sized” without sacrificing top-of-the-range performance.
Analyzing the photo, the display size should not be greater than 4 ″, you can see both the "Mi" logo at the top left of the screen - which usually characterizes Xiaomi's medium-high-end terminals - and the home button that recalls the one present on the Xiaomi Mi5; the Mi Pay mobile payment system, operating via NFC chips, which we have already seen will also be present on the Mi5S, should also be supported.
The thing we can assume is that we will find out more about this new terminal in the next Xiaomi event on September 27, the date on which the Xiaomi Mi5S, Mi5S Plus and the Mi TV 3S will be unveiled.
Will we finally be a worthy successor to the compact but powerful Mi2S? I can not wait to find out!
