It's been a while since we talk about Oppo watch and it's a shame since it is the most complete and (qualitatively better) smartwatch in circulation. From the CNIPA, the clue about a new interface for the sports features of Oppo Watch, here's how it could change in the near future
As usual in the portal of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) patents appear, not only relating to physical devices. At the end of last year, in this regard, we saw theapplication interface dedicated to Oppo smart home products. This time we see the one dedicated to the Oppo Watch. This certification was requested on 13 December 2019 but received the ok only today.
In point 2 we clearly read that the idea in question is intended for one SmartWatch or a smartband.
In the images coming from the portal we see how all the data we need have been prepared inside the dial, in a simple and intuitive way. It is shown, a circle with four colors. Each color is associated with an element: green for the pedometer, red for the calories, light green for the minutes of training and blue for (probably) the PAI index. Inside the circle there are indications about, date, time and weather.
But the interesting thing is not so much this as the presence of four more virtual keys at the corners of the dial. Instead of switching from one mode to another, the company could give the opportunity to respond to one call, record vowels or memories, activate the stopwatch e monitor heartbeats.
However, since it is a patent, it is not certain that the company intends to use this interface in the near future. Indeed, many times it happens that patents remain in oblivion.
