Xiaomi, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is about to launch a new model of its Redmi series, the Redmi 13C. The site MySmartPrice has in fact published a post today in which it shares high definition images of the device, showing its design and some of its features.
Redmi 13C: preview images show a teardrop screen and a triple camera
The Redmi 13C will have one 6,58-inch waterdrop notch screen, with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a pixel density of 395 ppi. The screen will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and will support a 120 Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 1000 nits.
On the back of the phone there will be three cameras, arranged in a rectangular module with an LED flash next to it. The main camera will have one 50 megapixel resolution, with an aperture of f/1.7 and a 0.64 µm sensor. The other two cameras will be one from 2 megapixels for the depth and one from 32 megapixels for ultra-wide angle². The front camera will instead be 16 megapixels, with HDR functions and 1080p video recording.
The Redmi 13C will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor (7 nm), with an octa-core CPU (2×2.4 GHz Cortex-A76 and 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The phone will have several storage options: 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM, or 128GB of internal storage and 6GB or 12GB of RAM. However, there will be no microSD card slot, so the memory will not be expandable.
Your phone will have a battery from 5000 mAh, with support to the quick charge from 33W, which will allow you to recharge your phone to 100% in just 44 minutes. The phone will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, a fingerprint sensor on the side, a infrared sensor, dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, BDS and GALILEO. The phone will also support 5G networks, both SA and NSA.
The Redmi 13C will be available in three colors: light green, black and blue. The price and release date of the phone have not yet been officially announced, but it is estimated that it could cost around 200 € and arrive on the market by the end of the year.
