According to the latest from China, Redmi is in the process of launching a new Note 12 series smartphone called Redmi Note 12S. Not long ago, the device was spotted on the site of the FCC certification body and now there are new revelations that the device has already started mass production in several regions in Europe and Eurasia which indicates that the device will definitely be launched in the near future.
Redmi Note 12S in mass production in Eurasia: arriving in the coming months
It has been reported that the Redmi Note 12S is very likely to be a 4G device and could be released in the coming months. Notably, well-known leakster Mukul Sharma broke the news that the upcoming Redmi Note 12S has already started mass production in several European and Eurasian regions. The device could be launched in the coming months.
As previously mentioned, the device also recently appeared on the American FCC certification body website, unveiling the new design and support for 67W fast charging. The new smartphone appears to adopt a similar design to the Redmi Note 11S.
As for the technical specifications, the Redmi Note 12S should be equipped with a 6,43-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to be powered by MediaTek Helio H96 processor, along with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of storage. In terms of cameras, we can expect the Redmi Note 12S to come with three cameras, including a 108-megapixel main, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and a 2-megapixel macro, while up front we will find a 16-megapixel selfie lens.
Lastly, the Redmi Note 12S is expected to come with a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging via the USB Type-C charging port.
