The presentation will take place this week, precisely 20st May. The company has not yet revealed the official specifications of the novelty, but, according to rumors, the main difference between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus and its predecessor will be a more powerful integrated graphics. At the same time, the CPU architecture will not change: one Cortex-X2 core (3.0 GHz), three productive Cortex-A710s and four energy-efficient Cortex-A510s. According to rumors, the Motorola Edge 30 it should be the first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor.
Qualcomm will not keep users who prefer the mid-range wait. In fact, the SoC premiere is expected that same day Snapdragon 7 Gen1 for mid-range devices. According to network sources, the flagship chip will be produced at the facilities of TSMC. Samsung, on the other hand, will be involved in the production of a cheaper SoC always belonging to the same price and performance range.
