Top of Gamma Nokia Android Finally Outbound?

Personally I'm a nostalgic of the period when the mobile phone market offered a wide choice of models and colors, it was a real competition in search of the “right” design and particularities for each person. Nokia then, for me, was the undisputed leader in the sector in those years: it produced solid mobile phones that became well-supported smartphones, even if the connectivity between terminals of different types was linked to almost impossible to find cables and ports that were sometimes not very widespread and that they always managed to keep the transmission in and out.

Unfortunately, Nokia did not know how far the market was changing until it became a prey to Microsoft who tried through this to carve out a slice of users, split between Apple and Android, with a proprietary mobile OS that did not exactly I received the great hoped for. Until this year, when the patents and maps license was terminated, Chinese Foxconn first purchased the feature phone from Microsft, then the new HMD Global Oy, made up of Nokia's veteran employees, are united in partnership to bring new smartphones to the market with the Finnish brand.

The rumors about new releases, also guaranteed by Nokia Corp's top managers, have come to fruition in the appearance on a Geekbench of a device, Nokia D1C, a mid-range with the following features: Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB RAM and Android 7.0.

The smartphone has been repeatedly tested via Geekbench, obtaining a score ranging between 656-682 for the single core and 2745-3229 for the multi-core test.

In addition to this good-potential terminal, rumors of a new smartphone featuring top-of-the-range features, called Nokia P1, has been circulating for months, but a new report from China indicates that the release of the device with Android Nougat powered by soc SD820, perhaps AMOLED screen with higher HD resolution and 5.2 and 5.7 size models, is expected by the end of this year.

According to the Chinese blog Anzhuo, the P1 is already in the prototype stage of construction and it is suggested that it may have an IP68 certification of resistance to water and dust as per the Samsung Galaxy S7. The terminal could also have a metal finish, thus abandoning the polycarbonate present on most of the old Nokia.

The report also speculates that the camera sensors are made of graphene, a sturdy material that allows, among other things, to produce better shots in low light conditions than the widespread CMOS sensors. Recall that Nokia has patented this sensor and has been dedicated to its development for about a decade. For mobile photography enthusiasts therefore there is to be very curious about its potential.

We hope that it is finally time to come back to see Nokia phones worthy of this name.
