Always grab more market share in the smartphone industry perhaps seems something far, especially if the land on which to compete is the American, where Apple in a sense is the host. But apparently according to Bloomberg, Xiaomi and Huawei, the best Chinese smartphone manufacturers, they are ready to challenge the American company. The two Chinese OEMs are returning from the success achieved in their homeland, coming among the first five places in the ranking of the best brands on the market.
Huawei and Xiaomi are in talks with the most important US telephone operators, like Verizon and AT&T, to bring their respective top of the range to the USA as early as next year. The US market in fact depends mainly on the network operators and that's why Huawei's previous attempts to make a foray into the market have encountered a brick wall. There is no guarantee that the agreement will be signed, but if it were to go to port for the Cupertino company the question would be really hot, as the support of telephone operators was essential for Appland, managing to intensify the presence of their own iPhone with a subsidy campaign for iPhone prices with repayment plans for several months.
Particularly Xiaomi is probing the ground, mainly through the channel offered by Amazon, but the company does not rule out in the future to open a physical store, but the same Lei Jun declared during the presentation of the processor Snapdragon 845, that before launching a smartphone in the US takes a long time and careful preparation. We do not know how the events will evolve but one thing is certain: Xiaomi and Huawei will have to rely heavily on the support of mobile providers since most smartphones are bought through carriers.
