Xiaomi is a leader in growth as a company in Italy

The times when someone sees our Xiaomi smartphone as our daily companion and come out with the phrase: "But what is this Chinese?" Are long gone. The company led by Lei Jun has been appearing on our territory for over a year and a half and since then it has worked very well to improve its position as leader in the smartphone market. We broke up a few days ago, with the success that the company has achieved in Spain, winning the second place one step away from Samsung, as the best-selling smartphone brand but above all with the promising data that for the Q1 2020 we could have seen Xiaomi at the top of the ranking considering a year-on-year growth of + 66%.

But how are things going in Italy? Well, the volumes of growth in our country are also growing enormously, I would say almost record-breaking. For the Italian market, Xiaomi has recorded a sensational growth of + 206%, although at the level of the general classification the Chinese brand takes fourth place.

Even in this case, judging the data of the other competitors, we can say that for the imminent future Xiaomi can undermine the top 3 places, currently taken by Samsung (stationary growth at 0%), Apple (growth of 1%) and Huawei. The latter company also marks a negative sign together with LG, specifically -33% and -39% respectively. Considering that on February 13 we will witness the launch of the new Mi 10 range, which will be presented globally on February 23, as well as the development of 5G for 2020, we can venture that in this year the Chinese giant will be one of the most important brand in Italy.

Things are definitely going well, however throughout Europe, confirming its presence in the top 5 of smartphone brands. In Germany and France, the company confirms the fourth place with a growth of 70% in France even if the units in percentage terms are far from the top positions. We are sure, however, that even in these two countries Xiaomi will soon live the right glory, thanks also to the support of the Mi Communities that encourage brand awareness thanks to unique initiatives, such as the preview of the brand's products or the Mi Explorer program.
