The week gets off to a great start on the Xiaomi Youpin crowdfunding platform, which today features a product from a brand closely linked to Lei Jun's company, highly appreciated in the mother country for excellence in the home appliances sector. We are talking about VIOMI, a brand that does not need further introduction as fame precedes it and which today brings to the Xiaomi online shop, a water dispenser that stands out for the smart functions offered through the companion app.
In detail, we are dealing with a dispenser of both cold and hot water but the main peculiarity lies in returning the precious liquid source of life, in purified form, thus eliminating 99,9% of any harmful particles, thanks to a system of UV sterilization.

The design is very reminiscent of coffee machines, proposing dimensions equal to 40 x 20,2 x 41,9 mm and a weight of 8,7 kilograms, a value in itself high, but justified by the presence of two filters for purification and the instantaneous heating system as well as a metal construction.
Definitely smart is the use of a 5-inch screen (larger than an iPhone SE 2020), through which we can adjust the water supply temperature, with the possibility of adjusting steps from +/- 1ºC, in order to better customize the temperature for herbal teas, tea and drinks in general. But all this can also be adjusted via your smartphone, as the VIOMI water dispenser is compatible with the Mi Home application. The VIOMI dispenser dispenses hot water in just one second, adjusting itself to the cup or glass present thanks to its infrared sensor.
