Xiaomi Mi 10 vs POCO F2 Pros: here are the differences compared

Xiaomi is a happy reality in the smartphone landscape, getting from year to year a series of successes and awards that push the company to give its best for each market segment and this year the apex seems to have been reached with the terminal Mi 10 / Mi 10 Pro, the current top of the range of the brand that made them talk so much because of the price, well beyond the maximum bar to which the Chinese OEM had accustomed us.

And then here comes the new brand from the brand's spin off company POCO F2 Pro, a valid alternative to the Xiaomi Mi 10. POCO F2 Pro and Mi 10 focus on different users, but share many features, which could be confusing in choosing one or the other device.

Xiaomi Mi 10 vs Poco F2 Pros: here are the differences compared.

The first thing we will do before focusing on the most important sections is to offer you a comparative table with all the specifications of each model. It is one of the fastest and most effective ways to see all the differences at the hardware level, so that you can quickly do what best suits your needs:

Of course and as it is right that both the two smartphones offer a completely different design while maintaining in common the choice of materials, premium for both such as glass and metal frame. Xiaomi Mi 10 offers a display with hole and curved edges while on the rear the protective glass is opaque type unlike F2 Pro which offers a full-screen panel thanks to the adoption of a selfie pop-up camera, 2.5D edges and rear camera arranged circularly.

Therefore in this case there is no winner, as everything is based on personal tastes, although a small difference could be found in the fact that POCO F2 Pro offers standard edges that improve grip and usability, as well as the presence of a very full screen display, gives greater immersiveness while enjoying multimedia content.

On the other hand, however, Xiaomi Mi 10 offers a more modern display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, resulting more fluid in use. As far as brute force is concerned, both devices are equipped with a Snapdragon 865 processor, but the Mi 10 in the basic variant offers more RAM resulting therefore faster in the most stressful operations while F2 Pro from its integrates UFS 3.1 type storage, albeit between this and the previous 3.0 there are no who knows what advantages, if not that of keeping the 60 FPS always stable in gaming activities.

As for the photographic sector, the Xiaomi Mi 10 seems to offer a better experience, especially for the primary sensor, a 108 MP lens that should capture more details in certain situations, but in our opinion the real difference makes the presence of the optical stabilizer OIS instead of digital EIS as for F2 Pro.

Even the wide-angle lens of Mi 10 seems better as it is brighter while for what regards the Macro photos, it seems to have the better the POCO F2 Pro, with a more resolute sensor. At the video level, Mi 10 again seems to be the winner of the comparison, also due to the integration of better microphones.

The battery and its autonomy is one of those key points in choosing a smartphone, especially when it comes to top of the range. In this case the two terminals seem to contend for the victory with few but perhaps substantial differences, starting from the presence of wireless charging as well as reverse charging, thus benefiting Mi 10.

It must be said that probably POCO F2 Pro should perform better in terms of autonomy considering a 60 Hz screen. Finally an advantage for POCO is to integrate the 3,5mm jack for earphones.

In conclusion on paper it seems that the victory is full for the Xiaomi Mi 10 but then the price difference between the two is so justified? Theoretically POCO F2 Pro also seems to be slightly underpriced for what it offers, therefore those who venture into purchasing this device will have nothing to regret but nevertheless if your budget allows you to opt for the purchase of Mi 10, the choice will be excellent, view the presence of many small hardware and software details that are really worth the expense, considering it as an investment for the future.

So if you thought to clarify your ideas, now perhaps you have more confused them than before, but whatever your choice, you will not regret it.

Nerd, Geek, Netizen, terms that do not belong to me. Simply myself, technology lover and provocative as Xiaomi does with his products. High quality at fair prices, a real provocation for the other most famous brands.
