Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is coming: we'll think about revealing it ... Redmi!

Yesterday Wang Teng, Product Director of Redmi, shared a post on Weibo in which he talked about the arrival on the market of a tablets from Xiaomi. Teng used the Xiaomi brand in the post, but did not specify precisely which device he is talking about. Some speculated at first that he was referring to a smartphone, but then in the comments Teng himself wanted to specify that he was not referring to a new phone, but to a device with a large display.

Therefore, the product in question should be a tablet. And it is absolutely likely that the tablet in question is Mi Pad 5, recently also spotted on the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) in China. Insistent rumors, not yet confirmed by Xiaomi, is that this tablet will be launched between mid and late August. It will be one of the most interesting and awaited news of the year, with reference to the Xiaomi world.

At the level of technical specifications, Mi Pad 5 will have a SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 in a first variant, while the other should have the Snapdragon 860. In addition to these hardware features, Mi Pad 5 should mount a 11 "FHD LCD display with 2560 x 1600 px resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.

There will be 3 models presented, able to satisfy any need, from the business to the more consumer one. In particular, the 3 models will respond to the name of Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro, Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Lite. At the moment all these info are to be considered unofficial. We are also waiting for updates from Xiaomi.
