Meizu fans will surely know that a long-standing partnership between the Chinese company and Canonical, a developer of the famous Ubuntu operating system, is one of the most popular and popular Linux distributions in the world.
These fans will be happy to know that today, Meizu, at the opening of the Mobile World Congress 2015, presented the world's first high-end device to equip the mobile version of the Canonical operating system, Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition.
As we can see from the image above, the new device is identical to the standard MX4: same hardware, same design and same colors. The only difference lies in the operating system, which according to those who have had the opportunity to try it, has some really interesting features. We know for sure that the MX4 Ubuntu Edition will also be marketed in Europe, but we do not yet know availability and price: we will certainly keep you informed as soon as new details are available.
Do you think Meizu will give us the choice of which operating system to install? Let us know in your comments what you think.
