We have waited for a long time ... We have seen his name born And the winner is ... Xiaomi Mi Max | ... We saw it in some pictures Lei Jun shows us new photos of Xiaomi Max | ... Finally, however, it's time to officially find out. A few hours ago the Chinese giant Xiaomi officially presented the new mid-range phablet Xiaomi Mi Max and the result is undoubtedly stunning.
Analyzing the construction of the smartphone, we note that metal is the main material that was used, leaving room for glass for the front body. In order to improve ergonomics as much as possible, Xiaomi has not reduced the thickness of the smartphone to a minimum to avoid that the grip of such a large device would be uncomfortable.
As for the technical characteristics, the complete card can be found below:
- Display from 6,4 inches;
- SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 / 652;
- 3 / 4 GB of RAM memory;
- 32 / 64 / 128 GB internal memory;
- 16 Megapixel Camera with PDAF and OIS;
- 5 MP camera front camera;
- Battery from 4850 mAh;
- Fingerprint sensor at the back;

As you can see, Xiaomi has decided to follow the same path of Mi5 realizing different versions. The details of these versions will be explained below, when we will also explain the various sales prices.
Unfortunately, we have no indication (at present) neither on the type of RAM memory used nor on the type of flash memory (eMMC 5.0 or UFS 2.0 in essence).
A separate speech must be made for the battery, whose energy capacity not only exceeds most smartphones on the market at the moment but should guarantee, at least, a couple of days of intense use.
Going to analyze the prices, Chinese users can take home the Xiaomi Mi Max choosing Silver, Gold and Dark Gray to:
- 1499 RMB version 3 GB + 32 GB S650 - about 200 €
- 1699 RMB version 3 GB + 64 GB S652 - about 230 €
- 1999 RMB version 4 GB + 128 GB S652 - about 270 €
It's interesting to note that the top version of the Mi Max costs just the same as the Mi5 base version. If you are curious to have a technical comparison between the two, keep in mind why we will post it shortly.
