Just today we got to see how the Indian branch of Xiaomi, if we can call it that, has presented its latest jewel or the POCOPHONE. Unfortunately for some, fortunately for others, it is simply a rebranded Redmi K30, or rather of the latter device but in “version POCO". But regardless of this, we are sure that the now autonomous company will not abandon, in terms of updates, its predecessor and the first true (perhaps only) flagship killer. In fact, just today an update for POCO F1 has arrived but strangely from Google Play.
There comes an update for POCO F1, but it comes from Google Play
Maybe not everyone knows that this update mode it is exclusive, for now, of the devices Google Pixel. Thanks to the update ad Android 10, Big G smartphones can enjoy this interesting and comfortable feature that allows you to install Android system updates, and not just those of the applications, directly from the platform intended for app download. But today also POCO, which quite frankly has zero importance compared to other ranges of smartphones, was able to take advantage of this novelty.
All smoke and no roast, if it were not for this interesting release mode, given that the package weighs only 6.3 kB and bring nothing but them February security patch. To be honest, it is not clear even if all countries have received this update in this way: if you have received it, do not hesitate to tell us in the comments section below.

It is not clear whether the other brands will have to "bend" to this new mode of rollout of updates: however, we know that willingly or unwillingly the Xiaomi mobile devices sold outside of China you will see them install Google's "Phone" (dialer) and "Messages" app.
What do you think if your smartphone received an update such as POCO F1 from Google Play? Wouldn't you find it more comfortable?
I received it
Hi gabri! Can you confirm that only the security patch has arrived and nothing else?
yes, only security updates
