The new generation of the well-known Xiaomi fitness tracker presented a few days ago, has already attracted the attention of many users thanks (finally) to the presence of a OLED display from 0,42 ″ inches through which to view the various data collected by the wearable (including the time) and, above all, for its very low price | Xiaomi Mi Band 2 official |.
However, speaking of this last point, it is known that the prices imposed by Xiaomi are valid only in the markets in which it is officially present, therefore in the event that a user who does not belong to these specific markets is interested in buying one of his device, must necessarily go through third-party resellers. This operation inevitably creates an increase in the final sale price which, based on various criteria, can also increase significantly compared to the starting list price. However, if this price increase is a natural consequence of various factors (therefore, justifiable) for those who are "forced" to purchase Xiaomi products unofficially, the same cannot be said for those who reside in officially supported markets. by the company itself.
In fact, as reported on various online sites of retailers (also renowned) belonging to the Asian market, the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is offered at a price comparable to that of our country (about thirty euros) rather than a more appropriate small increase due to various dealer services. This, according to the retailers, seems to be due again to problems with the production of the same (which can be solved in a short time) which, due to its great demand from users, have made it a very desirable device. However, according to our point of view, this "incorrect" market move cannot be justified by these reasons and therefore should be somehow recalled by Xiaomi itself.
It is hoped that this situation will not also affect users outside the Asian borders and that a solution for this rather unpleasant situation will be reached as soon as possible.
