Huami Technology has just officially announced that it will hold the Amazfit 2020 autumn conference on September 22nd. In this conference we will see the launch of two new smartwatches: the Amazfit GTR 2 and Amazfit GTS 2, and judging by the invitation letter, the two devices will still have the enormous autonomy as a strong point, but not only.
Amazfit GTS 2 and GTR 2: Now we know the date of the official presentation
Last year, Huami released the Amazfit GTR and Amazfit GTS, which feature long battery life. In particular we have the Amazfit GTR which can be used up to 74 days and the Amazfit GTS which instead reaches 14 days of autonomy.
The invitation letter to this year's fall conference reminds us of the Amazfit brand style, paying homage to culture classics and exploring technological innovation. The main body of the invitation letter is indeed a CD of the album “Beyond Live”, which is also a pun which implies that the Amazfit GTR 2 and Amazfit GTS 2 smartwatches will go beyond long battery life, bringing other premium features.
The official account of Amazfit in China stated that "The Amazfit GTR 2 and Amazfit GTS 2 will surpass themselves and surpass excellence". Now, although Amazfit has not clarified what the new features of the two smartwatches are, judging by the “Beyond GT” theme of this conference, we expect the music playback functions to receive a major upgrade.
Furthermore, the features for controlling our health are becoming more and more fundamental in today's smartwatches, so the Amazfit GTR 2 and Amazfit GTS 2 could update their main functions such as exercise tracking and health management. Last year there was support for atrial fibrillation, should ECG be added as well?
