The former editor of XDA Developers Mishaal Rahman shared details on future innovations in the current version of the Android 13 mobile operating system. Two of these are planned: the first will relate to the functioning of smartphone batteries and the second to the quality of voice calls. The image shared by the source shows a new menu item called Battery Health with a round "staircase" made up of four segments. Below is information with explanations on the the health of the battery of the device.
It is expected that such a log will allow you to track the condition of the battery and make a decision on its replacement in time. Or, while using the device, we will be able to decide what to do: maybe keep it more or less attached to the electricity at night, for example.
Another innovation will be the function Clear Calling: as revealed, this feature will reduce the background noise level for the interlocutor while talking on the smartphone. As the insider notes, this feature will be supported only when connected via a mobile network (LTE / 5G), but not when using Wi-Fi.
It is not yet known whether these features will be implemented on all devices with Android 13, or exclusively on the smartphones of the Google Pixel series.
